Ladybug fun!!!

haha so a few weeks ago, we found a ladybug in our apartment. Needless to say, it was pretty exciting compared to my everyday norm.  But then we had to go somewhere and I didn't wanna leave my ladybug friend. So Brian trapped it under a candy dish and we left to go do what we needed. When we got back, we discovered that the ladybug was gone. The candy dish wasn't flat on the table. A little wire thing was just barely holding it up. It was so sad and disappointing. We were having so much fun playing with it. Well last night, I was laying on my bed and I noticed something reddish on the ceiling by my light. I stood up and to my surprise, it was the ladybug!!! I was so excited. So we moved my ladybug to a flower that was given to me by my wonderful visiting teachers.  Yes, this is the excitement and entertainment of us. LOL. It is great. We have so much fun.

Family is everything.

As I sit here thinking, my heart is full. I have the same routine every night before I go to bed...I clean my face, brush my teeth, say my prayers, and check on each one of my children. Seeing their sweet, sleeping faces just melts my heart. I think about each of their personalities. I wonder what goes through their minds and what they may be dreaming about. I come to an understanding with myself that I have an amazing and blessed life. My family is my everything. My life wouldn't be worth much without them. I am truly grateful for what I have and the role I am playing in the grand scheme of things. I hope I can continue to learn and become better each day. I know my family is constantly teaching me.

Thoughts of the future

Life can be extremely scary especially when you do not know what to expect. I am 17 weeks pregnant and I will graduate from the nursing program in 9 weeks. After that, I am expected to the take the NCLEX to get my RN license. So much change is ahead of us. Currently, Brian is applying to multiple jobs to see where we may end up. We will most likely be moving in May. But we do not know where yet. I think that is probably the scariest thing of all. I am going to have to find a new OB and hospital to have this baby. The tension and worry is just starting to build up for me and I am not sure how to handle it, but rather just go through life one day at a time. Something will come up and we will know what we are doing at some point. All I can say is that I have great faith in the Lord. He gets me through each day and calms my anxiety. He gives me the reassurence I need to carry on. We have been so greatly blessed and I notice it often. I am also blessed to have a wonderful, righteous husband...

Terrified for the Future

Recently, I've learned about some issues our country is facing. But more specifically that it is happening where we live and within our school district. I am terrified for my children.  I'm terrified for the curriculum that is trying to be forced upon them. If you're not sure what I am talking about, look up CRT (critical race theory). Here is an article that has good info on it: https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/critical-race-theory-fight/ Our school district has been using non-threatening words like "diversity", "equity", and "inclusion ". All of those seem good. But don't let that fool you. If our school district chooses to add this to the curriculum, I will remove my kids from the district and home school them or find an alternative option. This is not okay.
