So these past few weeks, Brian and I have been in Vernal watching my 3 younger siblings while my parents were gone on a cruise for their 25th anniversary. They recently got back this last monday. Needless to say, I am glad they are home. We have had an exciting and confusing ride with these kids. It was definitely a good learning opportunity for us with our future children. We realized that to be a parent, a few things are good to have: good negotiation skills, listening skills, patience, endurance, and energy. It was often a battle trying to get the kids to help clean up or get ready to go somewhere. We had to bribe and bargain with them. I think that I might have gone crazy if it were not for Brian and all the help he is. He definitely kept me sane. haha. Plus, the kids have so much energy so we had to find ways to tire them out so they wouldn't stay up all hours of the night. Thank goodness, they started school while we were here.
